The battery in my motorcycle finally gave out after going dead a few times in the winter. As someone once said - "you drain it, you hurt it." Yeah. So, out with the old and in with the new.
Motorcycle ready for a new battery
Seats removed.
New battery and materials
Some assembly required. Seems to be the norm for motorcycle batteries.
Battery Acid.
Loading the battery with acid. Mmmm. Makes me thirsty
It's actually totally easy. The tubes line up with the top of the battery so there's no spilling, no melting your countertop.
Battery ready for installation
Just remove the tubes, press in the seal, and you're ready for the install.
All together
Just attach the leads and now it's ready to get charged up and ride. I have a trickle charger that had it charged in a few hours.
